Obvious to most, who know me personally, or of me online; I’m absolutely crazy about blogging! I have introduced almost all of my friends to the subject and assisted them in producing everything from their themes to content suggestions. Recently, I have noticed many of my blogs lacking the attention they deserve. Therefore, in an attempt to recreate the enjoyment of blogging that I once had, I am shutting down everything but this site.
I am removing Smackdash from the line-up entirely, simply because Vince Chan and Eric Scalf seem to have a strong handle on the amateur blogging scene. Personally, I feel that my suggestions, insight and criticism are a bit more in depth than amateur bloggers relate to. Besides, I haven’t had much spare time to keep up with the blogosphere and recommend anything, to anyone! Smackdash’s articles have been archived and I am willing to give them to anyone who wishes to share them on their website, as long as original credits are of course, given to yours truly.

I am using the name Smackdash to host the vast array of blogs I currently operate. Even though they will experience some down time, it is going to give each name a fresh start for both content and viewers. Sports Revue was getting quite a bit of hype over the past year and I am sad to see it drop offline, however, I know it will be great once again. The new blog network, Smackdash, should begin announcing additions to its content pool as early as Fall 2006. I’m going to take my time, cover the bases and ensure that I have quality authors, providing top notch content. But with the original statements in mind, when I started blogging, I do not want to be professional at all. I want to keep it fun, interesting and without four billion advertisements all over the layout, its just tacky now.
Smackdash will consist of numerous blogs on various topics. Naturally, I am going to be adding new titles but for now, the lineup looks like so:

I prefer to keep everyone in the dark on the individual content of each blog but I would love to see if anyone can guess where some of them are going. Skivvys is a little out of the ordinary for me. I’m going to launch something a little more of the adult nature, however, it will not contain nudity. I’ve witnessed quite a few blogs fail over the past three months and I definately do not want to have any of the above receive negative attention prior to their launches, so, lets play nice!
If you believe you could author content for any of the above mentioned titles, let me know. I’m definately willing to listen to anyones suggestions and ideas. I’m going to be looking around for someone to assist me with the network’s blog designs. I don’t feel I have enough creativity traveling through this tiny brain of mine to generate anything worthwhile. I am never pleased with my own designs anyones, hence never sticking with one theme.
For those of you interested in the Tulsa blog, I am going to be announcing some information on it very soon and I need to know by means of comments or contacting me via email, who is interested. I’m going to want to setup a meeting of some sort to speak to everyone about the ideas expressed between everyone. I’ll deliver more details as they arrive.

2Molly, I’m going to be setting up a seperate wiki style site for our collaboration and what have you, however, we definately need to find out who all is interested, seriously interested, get our ideas on paper and start on the mental side of things.
We need a plan, before we really roll it out! Should go smooth with a nice plan.

3I’m writing down ideas. I honestly have doubts about the amount of dedication some of my friends would give, but I will keep my eyes open for prospective authors. I was just saying I’m excited. I want my business card.
