Do you believe practicing one habit every day help your business? Regardless if your business is blogging or creating sales leads for copy paper; I think it can. Do you feel the slightest comment, lightest of touches or tinsiest of details could have an impact on someone?

I have been practicing a few habits as a test to this theory. Every evening, when I decide to call it a night; I place my iPod nano on my iHome dock and play an array of motivational meditation tracks. These tracks are supposed to influence my subconscious. Over time I realized that I was waking up more energetic and excited to take on the day.

When I get to my office, I take a few moments and walk around and say hi to those people that I know I could share some smiles with. They typically smile back and it really sets the mood for a positive day.

Most people don’t realize your subconscious has the ability to influence everything. Not saying you should go download motivational tracks to listen to on your drive to work, but it might not hurt to find a practice of your own. Think before acting, wake up and create a plan for your day. Take your puppy for a walk or just make yourself breakfast.

If you’re wanting to make a change, whatever you’re doing now isn’t quite working how you want it to. Make a small change and see exactly how it changes your environment. It could make a world of difference!
