@Shawn:

Honestly, the slopes are a bit pathetic currently. Denver received about two feet of snow a week or two back and last week, they had record highs. When I arrived the temperatures were in the mid sixties!

However, I bet in a few weeks the slopes will be powedered up and prepped for your visit.

Winterpark is something else; magnificant to say the very least.

I visited Boulder, Fraser, Denver, and a few other small cities surrounding the area. Pretty pleasant place overall.

Justin -

Now you're talking!

I grew up in Castle Rock (about 30 minutes south of Denver.) I live in KC now.

My wife graduated from CU in Boulder, and I buy a season pass to Copper Mountain / Winter Park every year. Snowboarding is my favorite thing in the world.

I'll be on the slopes two weeks from today. How's the snow out there?
