Your long forgotten pal Adam here.

Hooters is an enterprise born out of the capitalist world in which you and I thrive. They will have done their homework, and after much political and business consideration, have decided that Israel's 'shequel' is worth taking.
It reminds me of a recent post of yours regarding the 'network party' invite, and how you despised it because of the peer pressure, and how it promoted sales that were made out of feelings of guilt. Capitalism, pure and simple, and no different as to how it is that you and I want to drive the newest BMW, or drink in the newest bar in town.

It isn't about the food. I'd like to think that it isn't about the hooters, it is probably more about the success that all parties will have by being involved in something that they can classify as 'new'. Capitalism (which I am not opposed to) thrives on peoples perception of value, rather than the truth, and Hooters in Israel ain't the necessarily the truth.

Peace. Good to talk, and are you going to An Event Apart Seattle? The wife and I are going and it would be good to shoot some s**t?
