Lorelle wrote an article referencing OneDayBlogSilence.com, a website devoted to silencing the blogosphere on April 30, 2007. This day of silence, however, posting a single image with no words and no comments is to pay tribute to those injured and killed in the masacre that happened yesterday at Virginia Tech.

Personally, I feel as though paying tribute in silence is not the best of methods, however, Lorelle supported it. I am curious what everyone’s opinions on this matter is.. what do you think?

What are you opinions?

I spent the majority of my weekend busy as hell, moving, shuffling and unpacking. The weekend went by rather quickly and the stress of moving has caught up with me. Physically, I am quite fatigued and finally starting to get back on a regular sleep schedule, however, this week will definitely be rough. This feeling of stress and anxiety was soon removed with a subtle suprise from my girlfriend.

Upon arriving home from the office yesterday evening and stepping foot into my 1,000 sq ft of living space, I noticed a wall screen. Not just any wall screen, but a photograph wall screen that I had been eyeing for quite some time. Kimberly and I were shopping for photograph frames at Hobby Lobby a few weeks prior when we noticed a screen similar (perhaps this one). We were both excited about it and mentioned picking one up sometime and filling it up with photos.

The guys leading up the development of Wordpress have migrated to 120-day development release cycles for each new sub version. Its been an extraordinary ride watching the development of wordpress from the early stages, through version 1.5 and into 2.0. The newest release, wordpress 2.2 is definitely going to have some wonderful new additions.

First, I just read an article, Sponsored themes over at Weblog Tools Collection’s Blog and I found it very entertaining. I’ve noticed an increasing number of theme sponsors amongst the sitepoint marketplace crowd over the previous year as well. Overall, I find the idea of sponsoring a theme pretty interesting. However, put into perspective, make sure your sponsorship offer is worthy of the theme itself.

The newest version of my website has become quite popular amongst the various css design galleries on the internet. Because of this growing support for my website and its presentation, I have decided to release, in the form of a Wordpress theme, a previously mocked design version for my website. The design was initially worked on with Elena, just as version four-final was for my site.

Since the initial launch of version 4, I have been creating a list of things to do and fix on the website. However, since the lists creation I have been unable to really devote any time to making the adjustments. I’m going to dedicate the first weekend in May to fixing my personal website weekend and really get the bugs worked out. But I would love it if everyone would publish the bugs, suggestions, quarks, kinks and ideas they have for my website. I’ll be sure to get around to doing as much of it as I can.

A successful and quality landing page is one that will create conversions for you product or service. To create the conversion intention amongst your visitors, you must first think as though you are your own visitor. Landing page goal, persuade visitor to convert without becoming distracted; got it?

What is important in creating a quality and successful landing page?

A large number of bloggers and individuals I know trying to make money on the internet, own multiple domain names. Many of these names are currently parked on their registrars hosting platforms sitting there making no revenue. Actually, they are making revenue, just not in their owners pockets! Did you know that most registrars allow you to park your domain name free, because they create landing page with adsense ads or other forms of monetization? This allows them to make up the money it costs (pennies a month) for them to park your domain.

Put these to work! Setup your own landing page with keywords surrounding the topic of the website you originally purchase the domain for and throw a few adsense blocks in there. Remember to make it look professional, not like a splog please. However, there is nothing wrong setting up a nice landing page that could make you money instead of the registrar. There is absolutely nothing wrong with setting up a page devoted to a little content related to the domain and some adsense to bring in a little extra cash-flow.

I’m at a loss for words, this thing is simply bad ass. Way to go Adobe!
