As a resident of Oklahoma, our state turning 100 years was a big deal. We celebrated for a week; if not longer. In order to properly align our states goals, missions and objectives with those of our current present day time, the website 100IdeasOK.org website was established. Although there are some great ideas posted on the website, OkieDoke launched an alternative, Okie100.org. I’m personally a big fan of it. Give it a visit and post anything you find useful. I’ll be keeping my eyes open!

1Being a limey (or pom, if you’re an aussie) it wouldn’t be right for me to put stuff on that site. But, congratulations for turning 100! May I casually suggest a massive cake with 100 candles? And perhaps give slices of said cake to the most deprived people, so at least for one day, they have something really nice happen to them.

4Well, happy 100 years old, Oklahoma!
Although the concept of “100 ideas” is brilliant, some of the suggestions are somewhat scarry ; )
Then again, that’s the fun of turning on the mic so everyone can voice their own wishes!
