When you start receiving hundreds of hits from search engines such as Google and Yahoo!, your primary concern should be in converting every single one of those fresh web viewers into huge fans of your website immediately. You have to make sure that the keyword that got them to your site has a great deal of relevance to your web pages in an overwhelming way so your new website visitors will bookmark your site and keep coming back to your site week after week.
The opinions and suggestions reflected in this article are those of myself, and maybe a few friends I jacked statements from — with their permission of course. However, realize that every website and market is different and these may not work every time. But, it is a damn good starting point and guideline to get you going in the right direction!
You also need a professional, sleek design on your home page so that all the new traffic to your website will not click away from your home page in disgust after seeing ten or twenty spelling errors or poorly loaded and designed graphics. If your web pages do provide a great benefit to your fresh web visitors, they will certainly keep coming back for more and will eventually start purchasing your service or product very soon.
If they find your site does not have anything new to say about the topic that got them there in the first place, no amount of banner advertising or Pay-Per-Click program in the world will keep them there, so don’t waste your time or money by looking for one. Google needs you to describe your website in the most accurate search terms possible, or you will not ever get a good page ranking from Google, much less the amount of web surfers excited enough about your site that they will bookmark it and tell others about it.
An internet research survey conducted last year stated that up to 60% of all website pages on the world wide web are not optimized for the highest possible search engine rankings. You should use this fact to your advantage by making sure that all of your site’s pages are being optimized by you or a SEO professional so you can get a higher Google page ranking than the many millions of sites that are not optimized at all.
The more content you have on your web pages, the better chances are that web page optimization will send the future traffic to your website through the roof. The reason for this is because search engines love to send their web users to the most content-heavy sites that have been submitted to them. Google appreciates a site that has at least five different website categories in their site navigation bar, for instance. The more relevant keywords that Google’s search engine spiders find on your web pages and in your site’s navigation bar, the better.
The reason that Google and Yahoo! like featuring content-heavy websites is because the web surfers that actually go to their search engine screens to look for relevant content will keep coming back if they like the sites that Google and Yahoo! send them to. So, in a way you are actually helping Google as well as your own self-interest when you supply Google with the most relevant keyword descriptions possible.
Google makes millions of dollars every month by featuring Google ads on their main site pages that want to advertise directly to the web surfers who use relevant keyword searches, so make sure your keyword definitions for your site are as relevant as possible. Otherwise, Google will never give you the high page ranking that your site deserves, which will cause future website traffic to your site to dry up as quickly as a prune left out in the sun too long.
You have to be sure all of your web page content is current and up to date on your site’s main subject topics or future web visitors will think you have put no effort at all into your website, so why shoud they bother bookmarking your out of date site?
Just because you happen to know everything about your website’s subject matter and topics does not mean that your site visitors know anything about them, so treat them as people that need to be educated on your website’s topics at all times so your future website traffic to your site will be huge indeed.
Optimize all of your content-heavy web pages by updating your keyword density and making sure that all of your site’s blog titles and article subject headings are in bold. Along with applying that SEO technique, you need to be sure that your website pages contain all of your most popular and relevant keyword phrases as much as possible. This way, your success as an online entrepeneur will become a reality.

1good article! for people new to the web it gives the concepts behind all these technical terms we use every day. even for seasoned web development vets, it’s good to get back to basics and remind ourselves why we’re doing all this in the first place.
